Meeting Minutes
Tuesday July 31, 2018
Meeting called to order at 7:04 pm
Present were Mayor Schmuker, Keith Crowley, Judah Schmuker and Merle Graffam.
Mayor Schmuker called the meeting to discuss some updates and fixes to the town hall building. Mayor Schmuker feels that the building needs new windows and doors, stucco applied to the outside of the building and a heating and air conditioning pump for the building. Mayor Schmuker feels like now is a good time to complete this work. Council member Keith Crowley feels like the remodel on the post office building needs to be completed before another project is started. Council member Merle Graffam agrees. Council feels that the project for the bathroom at the post office is going too slow and should be completed by now. Mayor Schmuker explained that they have not been able to find workers and there is only one person working on the building. Council asked clerk Jenni if there was enough money in the budget at this time. Clerk Jenni explained that there has been more sales tax come in than other years so if the amount of the remodel is not outrageous then there could be money for the upgrades. Council member Merle Graffam is in favor of collecting bids for the project to review and discuss at the regular town council meeting in August.
